I usually have a hard time expressing myself when writing note cards. I never had to write them until I came to America - it just wasn't part of the Brazilian culture. Not only that, but I also spent the last eight years hiding inside of ad agencies' art departments with no contact with the outside world. Now that I own two businesses, one being a design studio and the other being the stationery business I share with my Ecosaurus partner, I often consult the book "On a Personal Note: A Guide to Writing Notes with Style" by Angela Ensminger and Keely Chase. It's not only insightful but also very pretty and colorful. I love it and was very excited this week to discover two new books through Town & Country: "Social Graces" by Jim Brosseau and Chesley McLaren, and "The Art of Gratitude: Thank-You Notes for Every Occasion" by The Editors of Town & Country, both which are now in my Amazon shopping cart. If you happen to find yourself at a loss for words, consider checking them out. -J.S.
