Green cards, coffee brown...

Today Ecosaurus-brand cards and gift wrap became available at Old Town Scottsdale's Sola Coffee Bar. Don't know it? Consider this your intro.

Sola is a newish, lesser-known and already much-loved caffeine outpost located among the legions of shops lining Fifth Avenue. More important than its extraordinary setting, which features an uber-friendly staff and a retro-salvage mix of fixtures and furnishings, Sola offers the best jolts of java in the city. And we're not just saying that. Our addiction to this place began long before our products were in place.

At the recommendation of the barista, first-timers to Sola often fall for the agave latte, and some love it so much they cannot bear to consider another menu item, ever. Meanwhile, others explore the sipping space, making moves on the shop's marvelous mocha, another genre of latte, or the Cadillac of caffeine vessels - the cappuccino.

For Sola guests who believe every coffee requires a sidekick (read: snacky-poo), a variety of available pastries will whittle away at your willpower and woo their way onto your plate. There will be no regrets.

Beyond the tasty drinks and treats, artwork plays a starring role here, gracing the walls with beauty you can take home should a piece grab your attention and appeal to your pocketbook.

Finally, as mentioned at the outset of this blog, there are now Ecosaurus note cards and gift wrap available for purchase. (Thank you, Sola team, for welcoming us to your venue!) For a price more than coffee but less than artwork, you can take our fresh recycled/recyclable goods with you to use as gifts or for gift-giving purposes. Alternately, you can put them to use pronto by catching up on snail-mail correspondence as you sit and leisurely sip your Sola beverage of choice. Regardless, you will win - as will two small local businesses. www.solacoffeebar.com, www.shopecosaurus.com
